Putting On Christ

Historically, Lent is a season of the church when those soon to be baptized go through a season of fasting, penitence, and preparation. It’s also a time when followers of Jesus give up something as part of a holy fast. Oftentimes, we focus so much on what we are giving up, that we miss the point: To put on Christ.

Through our holy fast and the power of the Holy Spirit, let’s turn from all that binds us and burdens us, and be set free by putting on Christ!
