Summer Program // 6 Weeks - Pre-K

Tuesdays & Thursdays

  • We believe that a church preschool program should be fun and inviting, and should allow children ample opportunity to learn important skills in a loving Christian environment.

  • We use a variety of academic curriculums, which emphasize the development of the whole child. We also use a Bible-based curriculum called First Look, that teaches children to love God, love life, and love others by provoking wonder, discovery, and passion.

Each week, our 3-year-olds and pre-k students attend chapel to hear a member of the church staff tell a Bible story. Our 1-year-olds and 2-year-olds have a music class twice a week.

  • We are blessed with a group of teachers who are nurturing, loving, well-trained, and experienced in working with children.

Thank you for your interest in our school! At Porterfield Day School, we provide children the opportunity to grow in their social skills, and we provide a positive learning environment for Christian education, allowing children to develop physically, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually.

We serve to enhance or introduce the role of the church as a meaningful part of the lives of families with young children.
